Member Advisory Council Member: Donna Hart was the CIO at Cook County Health (formerly Cook County Health and Hospital Systems) for over 20 years. Hart has earned the Health Information Technology Men & Women Award for her work in leveraging technology to enhance care. Her impact is well documented in numerous Healthcare and Technology publications. She has implemented a Cerner electronic health record system and helped Provident and Stroger hospitals earn $20 million through the meaningful use program. With her impact on Healthcare Information Technology she has assisted Cook County in attaining Stage 7 on the HIMSS Analytics EMRAM for both its hospitals and all ambulatory clinics.
